Fresh Breaks manages the marketing and bookings for luxury holiday cottages in Cornwall. Our approach to holiday accommodation is very different to more traditional agencies. Many other properties are furnished and equipped with the thought that 'it's only a holiday cottage'. Many properties are fitted with old or poor quality furniture with their owners believing that it doesn't need to be anything special. That is not our philosophy - far from it. Our aim is to offer holiday accommodation that meets or exceeds the standards our guests expect from their own homes. Holidays are precious times and we aim to provide accommodation that enhances your stay, rather than just being somewhere to sleep.
Fresh Breaks came about after we purchased our first holiday cottage - The Old Cider Press. Our strategy for presentation also made it imperative that we had to consider marketing the property ourselves. No agency was able to present the cottage in a way that would do it justice, and we felt our whole philosophy deserved a more individual approach. With our own web development skills, and with presentation and guest convenience in mind, we developed the Fresh Breaks website. The website is an integrated online presentation and booking system, specifically designed for Fresh Breaks by us. This enables guests to check up-to-date availability online, and even make reservations and bookings on the web. Of course we are always on hand to speak to guests personally if they prefer.
The Old Cider Press has become extremely popular with many guests returning year after year, some visiting other properties managed by Fresh Breaks . The business has grown gently, mainly due to the lack of quality properties available. We are constantly seeking out like-minded owners that wish to offer their properties as quality holiday accommodation.
Fresh Breaks only lists properties which have their bookings managed by us, are located in Cornwall and meet our quality criteria. Of course not every property will meet all of these requirements and some owners will always prefer to manage their own bookings. With this in mind, we have now launched WebCottages.co.uk. This website is aimed at owners or other small agencies that are looking for somewhere to list their property, but manage bookings themselves. The site is completely self-service, that is owners can upload and maintain their listings themselves. If you are the owner of a property, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
