Take a break, but remember your waterproof jackets just in case!

With the current economic climate the way it is, many people are deciding to take holidays on their doorstep rather than booking a more expensive trip abroad. During the warm summer months, destinations such as Cornwall, Brighton, Bournemouth and the Lake District offer a good alternative to seaside resorts abroad. If you want a bit of sun, towns in Cornwall are an excellent escape for the entire family. There are plenty of entertainment options and a number of different accommodation choices. For example, you could rent a luxury cottage and travel down with friends and family. It will still be cheaper than a holiday abroad. If you hire a cottage, it won’t matter so much if it rains because they’ll be plenty of indoor activities to keep you busy and if you have remembered to pack your waterproofs, you can still enjoy the outdoors without getting wet.
