What's included?
We aim to keep the process of going on holiday as simple & relaxing as possible. We achieve this by including the essential items you'll need for your stay. On top of that, we include a number of extra touches to make your stay just that bit special. Each property varies depending on it's location, the style of the property and the owners that have created the environment for you. For full details of what each property contains, visit the dedicated site for each property Here is a flavour of what's included.
- Welcome Basket
When you first arrive, you will probably have been travelling for a few hours. To you settle in, you'll find a welcome basket containing bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, butter, cheese, eggs and some fruit. If you have any special request, do please let us know in advance.
Around the property, you will find a number of special touches, which vary from owner to owner, but may include complementary toiletries, tissues and supplies for the dishwasher and washing machine.
- Electricity and Heating
We do not have coin-operated electricity meters; the cost of all electricity is included. Heating is also included and during the colder months you will arrive to a warm home. Generally you will also find some form of top-up heating to give things a boost. This may be in the form of electric convector heaters, wood burning stoves (with enough wood to last a few days) or an oil fired Rayburn.
- Cleaning, Bedding and Towels
As you step through the door, the first thing you will notice is that everything is spotlessly clean. The beds will be freshly made up and fresh towels placed out. The style of bedding will vary between properties depending on the owners, but all bedding will be of a high quality with the emphasis on comfort.
- Telephone
These days it is common to find a telephone in almost every level of accommodation, but it's usually a pay phone or accepts incoming calls only. Not with Fresh Breaks. Many of our properties include a regular telephone (often a cordless digital phone) and we even include £3 worth of phone calls a week. Most of the time, you will probably prefer to use your own mobile phone, but coverage in some areas is not good. Check the dedicated web sites if a phone or mobile coverage is important to you or check when you book.
- Computer and Internet connection
Virtually everyone that stays at one of our cottages has visited the web site, so we know our guests like to research their holidays online. To help you continue your planning, many of our properties include a computer with a free internet connection. You can check the availability of this facility on the dedicated web sites.
What's not included? Well, not much really. Our aim is for you to have a fantastic holiday and return to us again and again. For full details of what you will find, visit the dedicated web sites.
